Liverpool Getaway

Liverpool! Liverpool! Liverpool! What can I say .....sigh! This was the shortest stay I have ever  had but it was worth it from the vast museums to the large shopping area and the massive sales was like giving candy to a baby, I had to have my sister hold me back from shopping before I turned to Shopzilla. From the tour buses to the boat rides and the Ferris wheel ride which was horrific because am scared of heights but I can proudly say that my trip was not even at once disappointing. The people where friendly as well as very helpful though the English dialect was a bit difficult to understand.Such big cities are worth the trip and would recommend to make use of the tour buses since they tell the story of the city in detail. The trip was more enjoyable due to having the best road trip companion with me on the road i.e... my sister. Thanks sis

Manchester Getaway

Hi Munchkins,
So I finally visit my sister after dreading it for months now.In my mind the whole mapping of Manchester was dull and not fun but once i got off the train from the station to the bus to the  house I felt like I was in a magical place .From the Victorian décor on the builds to the bridges, museums and the street art was breath taking.Nothing I write or say will express the beauty but hope my pictures do.

Power of the pen

Hey readers lets talk about words and High school in which for me was about a million years ago.(Boy ain't I old). For a while in high school I had my a phase of writing little articles and poems which I had never published and at that time internet wasn't well developed if I may say.Anyways I will post some of my works with time.Writing has been something I can call my hidden talent only cause words tend to express the beauty and color and any other emotions that can't be expressed with word of mouth but by pen and paper.Hope you enjoy the read:

To be loved and to love is beauty
To be heartbroken is pain
To not forget someone who you love and hurt you is irremovable scares
emotions are what we are.

Rage is what I had but now love fills my heart
Pain is what I felt but now I  fill right at home next to you
A fragmented heart was what I was left with but the last man I loved but your love patched me up
All the memories and ashes that tormented my heart are filled with smile and laughter of us

During a storm you held my hand and made the skies clear
For my past you left me heartbroken but am flourishing in love
Am sorry that you left me but I deserved better and I found better
In his eyes I see a different world full of happiness and love

In this world I am in its bright and the grass is green
The skies are blue and never grey
The birds sing and not cry
Its a match made in heaven
And it was his loss to leave

Am happy to have found you and love you
Cause no more tears are being shed
No more crying myself to sleep
But there is more of smiles and laughter
And no more monsters around me

No more lies,no more regrets,
All around me is happiness
To have my scare is what I will never forget
But my present is what am content with...
my heart is back in place and love is flowing through me
Thank you for coming to my life.

yours truly,
Your love and healing heart
XOXO

Weddings !

Sigh! Weddings are the most beautiful passage of life next to the birth of a child. This past weekend I was privilege to attend my uncle's wedding which was short notice and as usual women don't have anything to wear.It was a small beautiful wedding and am glad I was there. It was small brief and elegant for a two week planned wedding.

I hence decided to wear a soft high low soft peach dress while my sister wore white (which was my fault since it's forbidden as a myth to wear white to a wedding),sure was glad the bride didn't mind.I was glad and happy for these choices since it was hot and the dresses went well with the weather per say.At the end of it all tears of joy and happiness and it was beautiful.

Don't mind the shoes had to change since I was baby sitting

Movie night

Hey hey!!So I know movie nights to some guys means nothing but to me since my childhood it's been like a gateway from everything and for those two hrs or so is peaceful bliss with a lot of junk food or rather ice cream because I hate popcorn due to the fact  it tends to stick in my teeth.Anyways enough of that so back to movie nights last night I got dressed up for the movies and did not want to over do it rather just a hint of girly heels was what I need and to top it of I wore a denim leather man jacket which I love but don't get to wear it often due to the crazy weather in England.

Top :old from Malaysia
Shoes :Zara
Pants:New look
Earrings and belt :Gifts
Jacket:River Island (bought last year)

Road trips in England part 3

So this week had a wedding to attend to which I had been worried of what to wear to an English Irish wedding. We stayed at the Reo Park Resort Northern Ireland which I must say it was beautiful experience. The rates are affordable for a weekend getaway and a nice venue for holding a wedding especially in the summer. The spa experience was also lovely and the environment was pretty much relaxing.for the swimming pool are not really appealing due to the pool being small and not enough room for more than four people to swim in.
